SCIENCE, FACTS and ART

Poincare remarked " Science is built up of facts, as a house is built of stones; but an accumulation of facts is no more a science than a heap of stones is a house." It requires a sense of aesthetics and sublime artistic ingeniosity to search for and arrive at coherence amongst apparently disconnected perplexing complexity. At that level the narrow line of distinction between real science and true art struggles to maintain its identity than elsewhere. It seems there exists a subtle mechanism in our social structure to exalt any individual who endeavors in this search for order, to the lofty heights of admiration and heroism.
