I Have a New Home........

Far beyond the mountains of good and evil,
Swampy lands of right, wrong, worth and worthlessness
Away from the gloomy cloud of melancholic self indulgence
Is a valley where you and I never did live
When my heart lie down on those meadows green
I am sure it will  start beating again...

I too wanted to scribble poetry
But was so scared of reality
Can you blame a robin redbreast
For its fear of the horrors of night

Back To Ground Zero - My Humanity

We are not as smart as we think...
We ain't as evolved as we claim...
We may have conquered stars and space
But not those dark alleys within,
Where we rarely ever have been
Darkness we should embrace,
To light up the horrors of our daily life
Dim lights where our ancestors met.

Let us begin by accepting that we are flawed,
Far more flawed than we would like to believe
Still taking pride in being human,
Our ability to march forth,
No matter how many times we stumble and fail....
