Fear and Speech
Casual thought hints at a linear causal relation between apprehension and stammering. A fearful anticipation in connection to future robs of the confidence that is a necessary prerequisite for a free flowing and captivating speech. At the extreme end lies the situation of becoming speechless, the state of the psyche completely conquered by fear.
