God declared that men can choose between hell and heaven. Every one was excited and rushing.
Then He gave the condition "Road to hell will be through heaven and to heaven through hell".
A strange silence ensued.
Few feet refused to back track. They reached their destination.

VALENTINE THOUGHTS
Could love for a person ever turn so deep, that her mere absence even for a while can be the cause of a psychological suffocation, or a fuming void..........
Who knows.....?
The epic stories akin to laila majnoon says 'yes'. Was it really so or were it merely the fantasies of the aching heart of a poet..............
Any way we would like to believe it really was........
Ain't we.......? ..........oh......yes !.......yes.......!

PUBLIC CONFESSION
Public confession - for the egotism I harbours and all the ugliness which flowed from it. Thanks to Carl Jung for teaching me that it had its root in my inferiority complexes. I misperceived it for dignity and strength - a deep rooted ignorance. Incidentally I realise it was because of the same that I once thought Hitler to be stronger than Gandhi. I may not succeed fully in dropping it, but I will try hard in not nurturing it further. A friend of mine told that it helps in adding physical beauty too .... :) :) ...... I am not sure. But it definitely helps in laughing better, particularly at oneself. And I do not want to miss that laughter. Any one wanna join.....:) :) :).....:) :) :).........

I SUBMIT
How ever tight I hold....
It is slipping away from me.....
Like a child for its mother
Like a flower to the dust
I submit
I forgot my roots
In my submission
Now I find my salvation
I submit.
I too had a youth
Even I set out for the heroic conquest
Only to find my self half dead
In the laps of my grand mother
She fed me with drops of wisdom
Helped me shed my ignorance
Weaknesses I misperceived for strength

Bhaji's Turban and Amla's Beard
Stringent religious orthodoxy is not the problem...... Bhaji's turban and Amla's beard are harmless mobile exhibition of the rich cultural diversity humanity nurtured and possess. Its part of a collective treasure and a treat for the culturally sensitive eyes. The moment whispers begin and hatred starts fuming.....that is an alarm call. Insecurity and intolerance are on its way......like a disturbed mind seeking violence.........

Non Serviam - Arrow from Within
Through the cataract societal eyes
I saw the gutters of the world
Entangled by shadows of falsehood
I wrestled with the neuroses of ours
Often in the early hours of dawn
I whimpered like a convalescent
In those half silent shivery utters
I heard the twin words 'non serviam'
Sharp and piercing was its edges
One day it hit mine eyes straight
I bled in yellow and spat in white
Blinded by arrows from within
I live in darkness of the world
With my inner light alone for help.

SHAKING THE DIVINE REALM
Deep within the depth of darkness
Far beneath the voice of masses
The infant in distress cries and howls
Helplessly striving at dismantling deadlocks
To have a glimpse of the morning sun
To feel the freshness of free air
The wall is vaguely transparent
And thick like a foggy glass
Though rays can penetrate
Yet difficult to breakthrough
The struggle shook the divine realm
The merciful lord ordained " Lo ! Teach him
The lessons of Shawshank Redemption"
